When you adopt a Doodle Roots Puppy we can guarantee that you are receiving a top notch puppy. We have searched far and wide for the perfect lines to start our program. We understand the importance of a solid foundation and we feel we have done that with our foundation dogs. All of our breeding dogs come from the original Rutland Manor/Tegan Park lines and are certified through Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA). WALA requires rigorous testing of all breeding stock to help ensure that each puppy we produce will live a long, healthy and happy life. Let’s find out below about Adoption and Pricing!
Pricing
Our puppies are $3,000 – this is broken up into two payments
- $250 deposit. This deposit is non refundable, but can be rolled to next available litter. We refund your deposit if we haven’t been able to place a puppy in your home within two litters.
- $2,750 balance is due after selections at 7 weeks and prior to pickup.
Pick Up
We offer several options for our families:
- Pick up your puppy at our home.
- We can deliver to you within 2 hours of our home for free.
- You can fly to one of our local airports and we can meet you there.
- Flight Nanny services to your local airport (prices vary depending on your location).
PUPPY SELECTION
Puppies are selected at 7 weeks of age.
- Selections are done based on our recommendations and the order of the deposit received. If you are not satisfied with your selection, you can move to next available litter.
- Puppies go home between 8-9 weeks of age.
If you are interested
- Our goal is to select the best puppy for the right family based on energy, temperament, and overall needs of the family and lifestyle.
- The first step in this process is for families to complete our puppy application. The puppy application and a phone conversation gives us an opportunity to understand what each family is looking for in their new family member.
- After our phone conversation, you can place a deposit, if you wish, on the litter/pairing that you feel will suit your families need the most.
- Around 5 weeks of age, we send out a selection form where families can select their “favorite” puppies as well as identify characteristics that are important to them.
- Around 7 weeks of age puppies are temperament tested using the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test. After temperament testing, we do selections based on our recommendations and the order of the deposit received for that litter.
- Doodle Roots has the right to retain any puppy that we feel will continue the legacy of the breed.

Doodle Roots has the right to refund the reservation fee or deny placement if we feel any situation is not the best fit for the puppy.
